artist's collective

the senseless artist's collective, founded in 2001 by evelyn kraus, werner krause and wolfgang temmel, takes action by initiating socio-critical and artistic interventions and projects against all forms of society with a restrictive attitude, while re-appropriating public space.

evelyn kraus
born 1972 in graz, a studied art history. developed and organized projects in the field of contemporary art. other special fields include: free radio as well as socio-cultural projects. engaged in cultural work. lives and works in graz.

werner krause
born 1953 in graz. since 1974 cultural editor at the kleine zeitung (focusing primarily on literature and theatre), from 1990 to 1995 on the advisory program committee of steirischer herbst.

gert pribitzer
born 1970 in graz. 1989 graduated from the borg in deutschlandsberg 1989-96 studied painting and graphics at the academy of fine arts in vienna, master class student under maximilian melcher and gunter damisch studied for his teaching credentials in art education and technical crafts 1996 received his degree since 1996 art teacher in graz

wolfgang temmel
born 1953 in graz. he lives in wies, styria in the south of austria. he has spent much time in new york and london. with his visual and acoustic as well as recent olfactory works, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and festivals (e.g.: ars electronica linz; steirischer herbst; wiener festwochen; berliner hörspieltage; europa'79, stuttgart; banff center of the arts, canada; radio orf - austrian public broadcasting station; graphische sammlung albertina, vienna; neue galerie am landesmuseum joanneum, graz).
