	Jeweils beim Ablug und der Ankunft eines Fluges sind über das Lautsprechersystem des Flughafens in der Ablughalle und im Ankunftsbereich Klänge zu hören, die auf die Atmosphäre und die Funktion des Ortes, als Anfangs- und Endpunkt einer Reise, Bezug nehmen. Wie eine Filmmusik, in die sich das akustische Ambiente des Flughafens einblendet - seien es die üblichen Durchsagen oder das Betriebsgeräusch des Gepäckförderbands -, begleiten die minimalistischen Klangcollagen DEPARTURE und ARRIVAL die hier agierenden Personen: Passagiere und Personal.
	Whenever a flight departs or arrives, the airport's PA system in the departures and arrivals areas plays sounds that make reference to the atmosphere and function of the place, as the point at which a journey starts and ends. Like a film score with the acoustic ambience of the airport dubbed in - be it the usual announcements or the operating noise of the baggage belt - the minimalist sound collages DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL accompany the people going about their activities here: passengers and staff.
